Shame often tries to make you hide from the very care you need.

Prayer
God, shame is loud today. It keeps telling me I am the problem. That I am too much, or not enough, or that what happened somehow says something permanent about who I am. I know that is probably not true. But knowing it and feeling it are not the same thing right now. I am not asking You to fix it immediately. I am just asking You to be here while it is loud. And maybe, slowly, help me hear something truer underneath it.
