Prayer When I Feel Guilty
Guilt can be loud, even when the story is not simple.
God, I feel guilty and I am not sure I should. Something happened to me, and somehow I am the one who cannot stop apologizing for it. I keep turning it over, looking for the part that was my fault. Maybe I am doing that so it feels less random. Or so I could have stopped it. I do not know if I will ever figure it out. I just know I cannot carry it much longer. Help me put down what is not mine, even if I cannot name it yet.
